INTRODUCTION <\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

Psalm 132 opens the door to understanding three major patterns of leadership found throughout Scripture and still active in ministry today:<\/span><\/p>\n

    The Saul Spirit<\/strong> \u2014 insecure, jealous, accusing, and oppressive<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Davidic Leadership<\/strong> \u2014 pure-hearted, presence-based, humble, and faithful<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Apostolic Paul Transformation<\/strong> \u2014 where God reforms a persecutor into a true servant-leader<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    These three patterns appear repeatedly in the Body of Christ, especially during seasons of pioneering work, spiritual shifts, new wine, and emerging callings. This article explains each one in depth.<\/span><\/p>\n

    PART 1 \u2014 THE SAUL SPIRIT<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

    A Spirit of Jealous Control and Misjudgment<\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n

    A. The Saul Spirit in David\u2019s Day<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

    King Saul represents leadership that:<\/span><\/p>\n

    • \n

      is insecure around gifted people<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      feels threatened by anyone with anointing<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      uses spiritual language but operates in fear<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      monitors people rather than trusts God<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      accuses without evidence<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      attacks innocent people<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      cannot celebrate another person\u2019s calling<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      holds position but lacks God\u2019s presence<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      \u201cSaul eyed David from that day and forward.\u201d (1 Samuel 18:9)<\/span><\/p>\n

      His downfall was rooted in envy, suspicion, and the fear of losing control<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

      B. The Saul Spirit in Today\u2019s Ministry World<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n
