Introduction

Many Christians today experience church cultures that feel rigid, performance-driven, fearful, elitist, or spiritually oppressive without realizing why. Much of this does not originate in the First-Century Church pattern of Acts, Ephesians, and Galatians. Instead, it slowly developed through Western-European religious, social, governmental, and cultural systems that became intertwined with Christianity over many centuries.

This broad set of inherited attitudes and ministry styles is what Taveau Johnson D’Arcy has christened as the WELP—Western-European Levitical Patriarchy.

WELP Studies seeks to identify, understand, and disentangle these influences so the Church can rediscover authentic, biblical, Christ-focused leadership.

This mixture gradually shaped Christianity into a ranked, rule-first, performance-evaluated, male-dominant, command-style system—often disconnected from the relational, mutual, house-to-house, Spirit-led structure of the First Church.

Most modern Western churches inherited this system without realizing it.

It affects:

• leadership expectations

• gender roles

• pastor identity

• submission doctrine

• correction style

• prophecy culture

• accountability language

• who is permitted to serve

• how “holiness” is measured

• how authority is interpreted

Understanding the WELP systems exposes where cultural tradition has replaced New Testament truth.

The Historical Roots of WELP

1. After Constantine

Church became legalized, institutionalized, politicized.

2. Medieval Clergy System

Priesthood became elite, distant, male-exclusive.

3. European Feudal Hierarchy

Rank and obedience became spiritualized.

4. Monarch & State Control

Church leadership mirrored political control.

5. Puritan Moral-Order Culture

Fear, shame, legalism became community tools.

Over 1,700 years, this shaped Christians more than Acts 2 ever did.

• pressure to submit

• suspicion of outsiders

• judging by appearances (stereotyping, also use occult divining, deep scanning , targeting bias type of leadership)

• legalism about look, status, gifts, (dressed up to equal the group standard for “Christian holiness”

• fear of making leadership mad (mark of control)

• elitist prophetic labeling

• purity obsession

• shaming the weak

• performance-based belonging

A person becomes responsible for “maintaining order,” not for loving others.

WELP and Gender (big hot subject)

WELP systems often:

• restrict women from leadership by assumption, not Scripture

• treat women as potential spiritual threats

• use shame, fear, withdrawal, or exclusion

• reinforce “spiritual masculinity” as authority

• distrust intuition, compassion, and nurture as weakness

This contrasts sharply with Jesus, who:

• welcomed women disciples

• protected women publicly

• commissioned women

• respected their testimony

• confronted male hypocrisy

The First-Church Contrast

The First Church in Acts was:

• relational

• mutual

• Spirit-led

• diverse

• house-based

• community-driven

• servant-minded

• NOT hierarchical

• NOT celebrity-focused

• NOT controlled by fear

Leadership was based on calling, maturity, and character—not dominance or entitlement.

The Spiritual Cost of WELP (Means: on Christian community, congregations, a persons even a fellow pastors, good reputation. It effects people’s soul(mind, will, emotions) which then attacks their personal and private, ministry. quality of life. It detracts from pure focus on relationships, k knowing the risen Lord, and also drives MANY  persons away from fellowshipping, attending, joining an  a organized “fellowship/church”_

WELP biased /accusing proud fruit produces:

• anxiety

• spiritual insecurity

• burnout

• church splits

• gossip and suspicion

• false accusations

• judgmental environment

• elitism disguised as discernment

• loss of joy and unity

People feel watched, evaluated, and compared instead of welcomed and known.

Why Study WELP?

WELP Studies seeks to help Christians:

• Not be hurt, needlessly false accused, deeply wounded, depressed /oppressed by “false word curse subculture”

• To train elders, staff, leaders, to pursue humility over dominance

• To recover and RE-DIG, REDEFINE, RETRAIN the do’s and many do nots  the Acts 2 community (includes main training, representation of ministry, purpose and governing authority”

WELP (authority, occult training)  is not the First Church. It is indeed “Constantine and authoritarian “top down” descendant from LP ROME
It is not the Kingdom of God.
It is not the Shepherd heart of Jesus.

By studying WELP, we gain clarity, freedom, and spiritual discernment—so we can build the Future Church that is truly rooted in Christ, not cultural inheritance.

This is the time to rediscover what the Holy Spirit intended from the beginning.
